Nice Loops are closed alternating chains. The loop lets you make deductions from how a candidate would have to travel around a cycle.
Follow alternating strong and weak links until the chain returns to its starting cell or candidate. Depending on whether the loop is continuous or discontinuous, it can eliminate candidates or force a placement.
Start with a single digit that has several tight candidate positions. The pattern is easier to see with clean pencil marks and a deliberate scan, not by guessing.
